We usually organize our feast every Saturday from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm at the parking lot behind Bruster’s in Glen Burnie.

Who are we?

BKind is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to provide food, clothing, and hygiene products to those less fortunate in Anne Arundel County, Baltimore City, and Baltimore County.

How do we help?

We partner with local county resources, as well as faith-based and secular organizations to provide food, clothing, fresh fruit and produce, canned and dry goods, hygiene supplies, blankets, tents, coats and other necessities to help the people we serve each week. We also seek to connect individuals in need to available local resources that can provide the help they need, and break the cycle of homelessness and poverty, one individual and family at a time.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide food, clothing, and hygiene products to those less fortunate in the area, and assistance to volunteers who may be experiencing a personal crisis. Our community outreaches serve everyone who shows up without judgment or regard to their ethnicity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic or religious background.

We will be putting Easter Baskets together for the kids.

Most importantly: the real reason for this Easter Season is celebrating the resurrection of Jesus. Come fellowship alongside all of the groups we serve with.

Son Rise Church Lunch

Today we served 103 people at our outreach. The weather was sunny but windy and the enthusiasm of our 46 volunteers was amazing. Our volunteers jump right in with a kind heart.

Thank you to Hands and Feet of Jesus for making delicious pulled pork sandwiches, chili and cornbread alone with several desserts.

Thank you to Eric for his vegetable soup and bread pudding and Denise for her bread pudding.

Thank you to Jan Murphy and all of the donors who make our Saturdays possible.
